About the program:
Mr. Sauder's presentation will be centered around the topic "Responding to a Changing Marketplace," and will highlight some of the ways Sauder Woodworking has diversified its business lines in order to stay competitive and viable over the years.
Buffet-style dinner will include the following items: broasted chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, noodles, green beans, tossed salad, homemade rolls, and pie.
About the speaker:
Sauder Woodworking Co. is a family business that was founded in 1934 by Erie Sauder. Dan Sauder is part of the 3rd generation and is serving as the Executive Vice President of Engineering & New Markets at Sauder. As part of the new market development he oversees the funeral products division. Dan also oversees the Sauder Building Products new market and new product development for the Sauder RTA furniture business. In previous roles, he served as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering, a Production Manager, and a Manufacturing Engineer. Before working at Sauder, Dan was the Plant Engineer for the Georgia Pacific Particleboard plant in Russellville, SC. Dan has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University in South Carolina. Dan has also obtained his Professional Engineering License in Manufacturing Engineering. Dan is currently serving on the Northwest Ohio MEDA Board.
